It's dream come true for Rajeev

This small screen heartthrob is going big – giving up TV for cinema .

And Rajeev Khandelwal can’t be happier about it. Says the actor with stars in his eyes, “It is a great feeling... a dream come true. I never realised that destiny has it own way of taking care of my needs. Frankly, I was getting bored of telly roles as things were getting a bit monotonous. I was seriously looking out for an exit. And that’s when movie offers came my way. I also believe that if you desperately want something in life, the whole universe conspires to get it for you.”

But if films was what he always wanted, why did he opt for TV to begin with? He replies, “With no formal training in acting, it was difficult for me to immediately make a mark in Bollywood. I wanted to first discover my range. My innings in TV has helped me immensely to grow as a full-fledged actor.”

But this is one debutante who doesn’t live and die by BO collections. So what is his success mantra? “I think every movie starts and ends on a Friday. So whether it is a success or a failure, I will accept them both,” Rajeev says.
